In other words: taking the load off for your partner’s daily essential needs.

It could be doing the dishes for them, folding their laundry, making your partner’s lunch for work, washing and cleaning their car.

I am sure all my Filipino’s in my generation can relate to this one. But every time my mom and I would get into an argument, her form of apologizing to me is either, “did you eat?” or “I cooked food for you.” I never understood it at the time but now that I am older, I have realized that my mom’s way of showing her love for me and ALL her children is through Acts of Service. The amount of sacrifices this women has made for her children is INSANE; she REALLY puts all of us first before her own needs. Mom, you are my everything and is the best mom anyone could ask for in the whole entire world. *Tupac’s voice* you are appreciated. I love you, momma.
